Wilderness First Aid Class

The 2021 Washington Alpine Club Wilderness First Aid (WFA) course will be held Friday, Saturday and Sunday, October 29th, 30th and 31st, at Guye Cabin. The class will be taught by Allison Lay, Director of Cascade Wilderness Medicine. We have room for 18 students.  Students who complete the class will receive WFA Certification. The fee for this class is $275.

Due to the close proximity of people working together on first aid scenarios students are required to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19. In addition, we are requiring each student to pass a COVID-19 PCR test during the week prior to the class. Get the PCR test on Monday or Tuesday, October 25th or 26th so as to have results back before the class begins. PCR tests are available numerous places in Seattle free of charge. These necessary requirements will help insure safety of all participants.
