Sexual Assault Prevention Training
All WAC members are invited to attend this training on consent, boundaries, and bystander skills, hosted by King County Sexual Assault Resource Center. This session focuses on practical tools for navigating physical contact and shared spaces in climbing, from harness and knot checks to belay instruction and close-in teaching. It also provides bystander skills for stepping in early when something doesn’t feel right. Attending is just as important for new members as well as existing members to help us role-model community building for the club.
