And at least xx others 🙂    Hello Future and Current WAC members,   Your friendly Risk Management Team here! We know that WAC is proactive about reducing the chance of any accident taking place in the field. However, we also recognize that despite everyone’s best efforts, a serious incident may occur.   In the event of a serious incident, it’s important that our club is prepared to respond, react, and support all impacted parties. We are hosting a practice session to review the Crisis Response Plan and would love your participation!  Purpose of an Crisis Response Plan A Crisis Response Plan is a set of pre-selected activities, intended to guide the response to an accident, which has been pre-approved by the WAC board. The Crisis Response Plan does the following:

1. Assign responsibilities for action.
2. Pre-plans actions to be taken in different potential emergencies. 
3. Identifies resources for responding to an emergency.

Each accident has unique characteristics. However many elements of the response can be anticipated and optimal strategies for dealing with them developed. Reference document: America Outdoors   Crisis Response Plan Crisis Plan Roles
