Mountain Project info about WA Pass: https://www.mountainproject.com/area/105792192/washington-passThe Liberty Bell group at Washington Pass is the most iconic of alpine climbing areas in the Pacific Northwest. For years, the approach routes to the spires have been deteriorating, leading to increased erosion, heavy braiding, and plant degradation—not to mention lost climbers and hampered rescue operations. The Access Fund-Jeep Conservation Team has launched a two year conservation initiative to build a sustainable approach system that ensures climbers will follow one, hardened path to their climb of choice.
